What It Costs
Transparent Pricing.
No Surprises.
Most contractors won’t tell you what things cost until they’re standing in your driveway. We think educated clients make better decisions.
How Our Pricing Works
Square footage is a starting point, not a price.
We don’t price by square footage. We price based on labor hours, project complexity, material selection, site conditions, and overhead. Square footage ranges help you understand the investment territory before we meet — that’s all they’re for.
For driveways, square footage guidance works reasonably well because the variables are more predictable. For patios, pool decks, and architectural entrances, square footage becomes almost irrelevant — two 500-sqft patios can have completely different costs based on terrain, drainage, and structural requirements.
Every project receives a fixed written quote after a site assessment. The numbers below are published so you can determine whether a project is in your budget before investing time in a consultation.
Investment Ranges
Four project types, one installation standard
Regardless of project type or budget, every Vision Grounds installation uses the same base system, the same edge restraint, and the same Unilock materials.
Flagship Service
Paver Driveways
Square footage guidance works reasonably well for driveways. A standard two-car driveway runs around 600–800 sqft.
- →Standard two-car driveway: $12,000–$22,000
- →Large driveway with apron detailing: $22,000–$45,000
- →Estate driveway or grand approach: $45,000–$100,000+
Unilock Ultima™ Technology and EasyClean™ stain resistance available across the driveway catalog. Material selection affects total investment.
Service
Artisan Entrances & Walkways
Front entries and architectural walkways are defined by design complexity, not square footage. A formal entry with custom masonry pillars and step sequences involves a fundamentally different scope.
- →Structured front walkway with border detailing
- →Grand entrance steps with architectural masonry
- →Custom winding paths through garden areas
Service
Patios & Pool Decks
Full entertainment zones are priced primarily on complexity, site conditions, and structural requirements. Square footage should be treated as rough orientation only.
- →Single-zone patio with clean geometry
- →Multi-zone outdoor living with dining and lounge areas
- →Pool deck with coping integration and drainage planning
Comprehensive Scope
Full Property Transformations
A complete hardscape master plan connecting driveway, grand entrance, patio, and pool deck into a unified outdoor environment. These projects typically involve significant grade reclamation and multi-level retaining walls.
- →Full front-to-back property hardscape design
- →Multi-level retaining wall systems
- →Major grade reclamation on sloped lots
Every Project, Every Time
What’s always included
The installation standard doesn’t change with budget. What changes is materials, complexity, size, access, and terrain.
Engineering Site Analysis
Drainage, slope management, and load-bearing requirements assessed before any work begins.
Correct Excavation Depth
12-inch for driveways. 4–6 inch for patios, walkways, and pool decks. Determined by surface type.
Geotextile Fabric
Prevents clay contamination from migrating into the base system — critical in Texas soil conditions.
Open-Grade Base System
Angular crushed stone that drains freely and stays stable as soil expands and contracts seasonally.
Concrete Beam Edge Restraint
Poured concrete perimeter with rebar and fiberglass — not plastic snap-in edging. Every project.
4-Year Workmanship Warranty
Every Vision Grounds project is backed by a four-year workmanship warranty. If it fails due to installation, we address it.
